“Seduction”
In the summer of 2000, my friend and I journeyed to Hell Hole Canyon. As we entered the canyon and followed the trail along the river, we noted huge bear and mountain lion tracks. It appeared as if the mountain lion was following the bear. As dusk approached, the canyon became alive with the magical light of fireflies. A huge rock portal beckoned us to visualize the projection of positive intentions to our spirit guides. My dream was to create a new strategic market for my paintings. This vortex of masculine energy provided practical intent for manifestation and action in the business world. The following morning we hiked to the counterpart feminine vortex with a waterfall. We received nurturing messages that supported my masculine manifestation. These messages were portrayed in the painting, “Dragonfly Mystique”.

The mountain lion in the painting is being seduced by an orange feminine water spirit trying to steal the lion’s focus and power. This interaction warns the lion not to become vulnerable to those who are jealous…..those who want to take away his power and convictions to manifest his dreams. The bear is telling us how to avoid this entanglement by detaching from this drama, and to seek courage to trust our own inner truths and stand on our convictions. The descending male angel is trying to rescue the lost soul, and the woman on the bottom left is lifting her arms in frustration.

The two male figures with the female figures in the top left warns us about the misuse of sexual power...the stealing of energy from those who are vulnerable.

The male and female figures above the rock portal represent the harmonious blending of masculine and feminine energies. Through this equal energy exchange, optimum power and abundance in the world is achieved.
