| "Mystic of the Lake" Mystic of the Lake illustrates the potential of being simultaneously connected to the energies of heaven and earth. The mystic goddess is making this full connection by drawing the heavenly energies into her head, through her body and out her hands and feet and into the earth. The goddess is emanating a bright energy field around her, which is made possible by her being rooted into the physical earth and her openness in connecting to the non-physical celestial spirit energy. The fairy on the lake shore is trying to direct a team of horses who are pulling in different directions. Horses symbolize power. The fairy is struggling to get the horses to move in the same direction. This challenge is symbolic of the inner struggle the mystic goddess had to overcome in order to fully shine. Her abundant emanation allows her to share her light energy with the darker earth devas on the left side of the painting. |
