The Goddess Warrior is a very determined goddess.
"She is you. She is me. She is all of us." She has the ability to embrace all
the dark foreboding figures in the foreground, while at the same time she can rise above
them and shine her light and reflect light back onto them. Her arm appears to be embracing
the dark, shadowy figures of the earth, while her head is above the horizon. She is in the
light and shadow simultaneously.
On the horizon, where the earth and heavens meet, there are horses on the
right side that go past her shoulder. These horses bridge the gap between heaven and
earth. Horse is symbolic of power and the ability to combine the heaven and earth
energies. There are also many faces, and to the right is a serpent in the sky which shows
strength and a warrior energy. There is a skeleton that appears to be flying on the right
side, while on the bottom right is a double image of a facial profile, with a head, nose,
and chin, which becomes a nude, female body. On the left side, a head with horns appears
symbolizing the demons or darkness within us all. The cacti are arranged in linear
perspective and appear to be faces and heads.
On the left side of the goddess' neck are a few angels and other beings
that are on the horizon, being pulled upward to the heavens. This Goddess Warrior has
courage and strength, and yet exhibits gentleness and compassion. She is rising out of her
inner battles, symbolized by the earth plane, and forging her personal victory.
