To the left of the horse's head, a challenging face appears, a symbol of fear. The mystical goddess has confronted her fears and has gained her full strength. This painting was inspired by a journey the artist took to visit ancient Celtic mounds. The mounds were deep in thick woods and were once used as fertility rituals by Celtic women. |
