"Pathway to the Light" I was very ill fighting pneumonia. As I painted Pathway to the Light, I noticed a dark band under the yellow wisteria. This darkness represented the dark shadow in my lungs. As the light penetrated the wisteria and broke through the dark band, I experienced a spontaneous healing. Years later I was involved in a serious auto accident traveling from one art show to another. Our vehicle was totally demolished. Miraculously, my paintings remained intact except for this painting. I sensed that Spirit was sending me a message through the rip in this painting. Spirit was reminding me to let go of control and the belief that I am in charge. I was amazed that Spirit purposely chose Pathway to the Light to remind me of a greater presence.
